Oxipack: Empowering Nexubis

Oxipack: Empowering Nexubis
Ah, Oxipack. The kind of client that reminds you why you started doing this in the first place. No drama, no ego, just trust. They hand you the keys, say “go build something cool,” and somehow don’t hover over your shoulder while you do it. They gave us creative freedom, space to experiment, and the kind of collaboration that actually feels like teamwork, not service delivery.
But before I start sounding like a proud parent at prize-giving, let’s rewind to how this all started.
The rewind
Back in my Altify days (if you haven’t read that story, do yourself a favour and check it out here), I worked in a marketing team alongside one absolute powerhouse: Brigitte. Sharp, funny, and terrifying in the best way - she kept everyone on their toes. You couldn’t slack off around her if you tried. She was the kind of person who made things move.
Fast forward a year or two, and Brigitte moves to the Netherlands to join Oxipack. Six months after Nexubis launches, I get a message from her on LinkedIn. She tells me Oxipack is building a proper marketing department for the first time, and they need a trusted design partner. I didn’t overthink it. I missed working with her, loved her energy, and knew whatever she touched was going somewhere. So we jumped in.
At first, it was simple stuff: a few social posts, some marketing collateral. But within three months, their website started falling apart. They’d hired a few external devs to fix it, but it just got worse. So I did what any self-respecting founder with a caffeine problem would do. I pitched the nuclear option: scrap the site, rebuild it from scratch, and migrate from WordPress to Webflow.
I gave them a full presentation on why WordPress is a nightmare and how Webflow would give their team the control and flexibility they deserved. They approved it, and three months later, the new Oxipack site was live. Big project. Big win. And that’s when things really took off.
From there, Oxipack became a turning point. We started handling their social campaigns, events, 3D renders, convention stands, and product visuals. Then, when Nexubis switched to our new subscription-based model, Oxipack was the first to sign on for a full annual plan. That upfront investment gave us serious breathing room. It helped us scale, hire, and stabilize operations. In short, they gave Nexubis momentum.
The human element
Let’s circle back to Brigitte, the brain behind Oxipack’s marketing machine. She’s proactive to a fault, allergic to delays, and has a habit of lighting a fire under everyone’s ass (including mine). And she does it all with this blunt, dry humour that cracks up our whole team on calls. Working with her feels like controlled chaos, but the kind that produces results.
And then there’s Kayleigh, Brigitte’s partner-in-crime and the calm in the storm. She joined a bit later down the line but fit right in, keeping projects on track and spirits high. She’s got this grounded energy that balances Brigitte’s fire perfectly... plus an accent so good it could probably get its own LinkedIn endorsement.
Brigitte, if you’re reading this, thank you. You didn’t just bring Nexubis into Oxipack; you gave us a growth spurt. You made things possible that would’ve taken much longer without your push, your trust, and your relentless drive.
What Oxipack actually does
Now, here’s the cool part. Oxipack isn’t just another industrial company. They’re innovators in non-destructive leak detection, meaning they test product packaging for leaks without ruining the product. Traditionally, leak testing destroys inventory. Oxipack’s tech solves that entirely.
They design and manufacture high-precision machines (think Swiss Army Knife levels of quality) for everything from food and pharma to packaging production lines. Their solutions can be integrated directly into manufacturing systems, testing packages in-line, and saving companies massive costs on waste.
They’ve showcased their machines globally. From major European trade fairs to the Pack Expo in Las Vegas, slowly but surely reshaping how industries think about sustainability and efficiency in packaging.
Why this matters to Nexubis
Oxipack gave us more than work. They gave us trust. The kind that lets you think bigger and build faster. They were our first large-scale European partner, the client that made hiring more people make sense, and the project that proved Nexubis could play in the big leagues.
When we say “Empowering Dreams,” this is what we mean. They empowered ours by believing in us, and in return, we got to empower theirs by telling their story and elevating their brand worldwide.
Gratitude
To the whole Oxipack team, thank you for the trust, the laughs, and the countless opportunities to flex our creative muscles. To Brigitte, thank you for making that intro, for keeping us sharp, and for reminding me what great collaboration feels like.
You helped turn Nexubis from a small studio into a company with legs.
And for that, we’ll always be grateful.
Here’s to you, Oxipack. Keep building. Keep innovating.
